Lisa Phillips delivers classic beach vibes
I stumbled onto the free gallery for Beauty & The Beach and decided to give it a look. Lisa Phillips at the Great Exuma Cay location is exactly what you want from the vintage era. The photos feel like a genuine snapshot album rather than a stiff studio shoot. Being a few yards from the Tropical House estate gives the whole set a relaxed, private atmosphere that really works. Her big bust looks natural in the sun, and the outdoor setting keeps things from feeling too staged. I really appreciated the candid feel of the images. If I had to nitpick, the lighting in a couple of the wider shots feels a bit flat, and I wish there were a few more images of her friend Devon Daniels to break up the solo focus. Still, the location is terrific and the privacy is obvious. It is a solid 5 out of 5 stars for anyone who likes the classic look without the modern gloss.
